Situated 1,373 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is rich in minerals and mud, making its health and beauty benefits internationally renowned. A mini-universe with its own micro-climate, the Dead Sea is the saltiest and most mineral-laden body of water in the world.
It is located between Israel, the West Bank and Jordan. In the last decades, this unique phenomena is suffering from a lack of water and rapidly retreating, creating huge swallow holes.
