Description:
Timrat , a community settlement in the jezreel valley, was founded in 1981.
Earlier, until 1954, members of kibbutz Timmurim resided here, before moving to southern Israel. Timrat lies on an hill within a natural forest which overlooking the entire valley. It is named for the Tamar tree, an ancient symbol of the Holy Land.
