Description:
The city and the port of Caesarea were built by King Herod about 25-13 BC. During the Roman Era, the city was populated by Romans, Jews and Samaritans, who all enjoyed the benefits of castles, running water, bathhouses and cultural & entertainment centers.
The ancient Roman amphitheater in Caesarea whice is still standing in this days, Today, the amphitheater hosts concerts by Israeli and international artists.
